PTERANODON STERNBERGI

Below Late Cretaceous skies a pair of Pteranodon (wing-toothless) flies gracefully overhead. The fossilised bones were discovered in Kansas which at the time was covered by sea. Pteranodon’s crest may have been used as a counter-balance to the long beak.
