09-07-2014 First thing to say on my new news page is a huge 'well done' to my son Tom for revamping and publishing this website. Thanks also to Paul for his invaluable assistance.
15-10-14 A new batch of aviation paintings are now on the aviation page. They were all exhibited at this years Guild of Aviation Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. As you will see three were sold but Giclee prints are available if you contact me for prices. Once again I was honoured with a 'Highly Commended' by Cross and Cockade International' this time for 'Harvey-Kelly First to France'.
29-10-14 Latest addition to the website is a private commission of a little known incident during the French Indian Wars, the 'Bloody Morning Scout' on the Miscellaneous page. This encounter was just one part of the 'Battle of Lake George'. The research was fascinating but I will leave that for you to find out for yourselves.
28-12-14 Hope everyone is enjoying the festive season and wish you all the best for 2015. The latest painting I've uploaded is on the Miscellaneous page. It's of a commissioned painting for an Irish vet who worked in Carmarthenshire some years ago and wanted a reminder of the Welsh landscape she worked in. A tough challenge as the brief wasn't for a particular place but for a generalised idea of Carmarthenshire, which meant merging various elements into a natural looking whole.
30-6-15 For all who have been trying to use the Cards and Posters button it is now up and running.
Also I have been persuaded to join social media by opening a Facebook page.
Two more history paintings have now been added to the Miscellaneous Page. One on Ancient Egypt at the time of Julius Caesar and the other the Ishtar Gate in Ancient Babylon.
03-08-15 Another very good year for the Guild of Aviation Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. This year was extra special as one wall of paintings was dedicated to celebrating the centenary of Westland's as aircraft manufacturers. This years paintings are now included on the Aviation page.
12-04-16 For anyone visiting RAF Museum Cosford the art gallery is currently running a World War One aviation paintings exhibition, where several of my paintings can be seen.
4-09-16 The new 3d transport models page is now open where you can find a large selection of transport models that can be posed and lit to suit the Artists requirements.
